We have had our far share of remixes over the years but this one was a real beautiful challenge. We loved Bagunço’s horn section and we knew that we wanted to focus on that part of the song, to give African spirit in the Brazilian Jazz and make it a worldbeat for the dance floors.
With a soft yet aggressive guitar to set in the background as a solid foundation. Then we took it back to our South African roots by adding a spiritual, raw, jungle, soulful incident vocals.

Bagunço - As Três

Incidental Vocals: The Phat Ones
This is my music
It comes all the way from Rio, to Colombia, to Mexico, to Africa
You see, this thing, can not be described
You cant put it down in words
You can't explain it to the next person
You feel this
You feel the sound, the drumbeat
Playing inside, as the trumpet speaks to your soul
We call this house, (aaaaaaaah)
I love it, It makes me feel good
When everything else is going bad
I listen to house and I let myself go
This a feeling

Bagunço explora três ritmos tradicionais brasileiros distintos: o Maracatu, o Galope e o Frevo. O arranjo segue a ideia de
um Jazz Festivo Tropicalista, que consiste em propor um groove bem brasileiro, dançante, psicodélico, mas mantendo uma cara jazzy....more
André brings the fuzz of his guitar also in afrobeat, coco, afrofunk and Brazil - Africa fusions.
The partnership with the producer Victor Rice is brutal!!! Bagunço
